3D Portraits

How It Works

2D is great, however, 3D is quite remarkable when it comes to taking your portrait.

Marks' 3D portraits use a 'glasses free' technology.
It's like a regular 2D portrait but has real depth- it's like you are there!

Mark's unique and specialised, 'depth over subject' effect creates a compelling result each and every time.

Mark is a multi award winning 3D photographer, accredited member of the Australian Institute of Professional Photographers (A.I.P.P.), a finalist and semi finalist in the prestigious Moran Contemporary Photographic Portrait Prize and a recipient of awards from the Australian Cinematography Society (A.C.S.).

Award winning 'art' photography starts with good planning.

Mark will discuss the style of shot you want, so that on the day of your shoot you are ready to hit the set!

It will be a fun day:)

Mark captures you with advanced Hollywood style techniques with multiple cameras and a chroma screen.

This way we can have you in any environment that suits.

The background can be simple or something that you have photographed, or, Mark can immerse you in a complex computer generated scene .

What ever you like - its yours!

Using up to 7 cameras you are captured with all the key points necessary to make a stunning 3D print.

Not sure what you will look like in 3D?
No problem - Marks' has a system in place so you can see yourself in 3D on a vertical 55 inch 3D screen in a few seconds.

The photography session can be as involved as you like - from a simple head shot to a full make over with wardrobe and styling.

After the session, Mark uses his 20 years of image making experience to combine you, the background and other elements to finish off a remarkable ‘one off’ piece of art.

Your investment in a 3D artwork will gain emotional value over time.

It's not a gimmick - it’s like you were there!
You are investing in a moment that will be enjoyed by you and others for years to come.

Sadly, you cannot view Marks' imagery on the internet.

The animated images on the right, do provide a representation of the quality of work and the number of views required to make a 3D print.

Another way, is to use red/cyan anaglyph glasses:
